Beau sceptre dédié à Shango. C'est le dieu de la guerre et du tonnerre, il est prié pour sa force et craint de tous, c'est aussi celui qui juge et donne la sentence. 
C'est une oeuvre empreinte de force et de majesté. La pose du personnage est digne et fier. La tête droite, le menton en avant, le regard appuyé et perçant. Il ne craint personne, il est sûre de sa force. C'est l'oeuvre d'un sculpteur aguerri qui a su donné la vie à cette oeuvre. La sculpture est fine avec de nombreux détails. Le personnage porte un enfant dans son dos. On notera aussi que deux poules ou coq surplombent le sceptre. Belle patine ancienne d'usage. Une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique. Circa 1950.
