Maravilhosa e Rara penca de balangandã", em prata 350, um ornamento afro-brasileiro dos séculos XVIII e XIX.
A peça é composta por uma estrutura principal, chamada de "nave" ou "galera", que serve como suporte para vários penduricalhos, ou "balangandãs". 
Cada balangandã tem um significado simbólico, representando elementos como frutas, figas, moedas ou dentes de animais, e a combinação de todos eles torna cada peça única. 
Originalmente, a penca de balangandã era usada por mulheres negras escravizadas na Bahia como um amuleto e símbolo de resistência, esperança e liberdade. 
Acredita-se que os balangandãs eram usados para afastar energias negativas e trazer boa sorte. 
Peça rara, apreciada por colecionadores.
