A beautifully proportioned and exceptionally elegant Art Deco display cabinet from the 1930s. This piece is a superb example of the period's preference for streamlined form and luxurious materials.

The cabinet is faced with a richly figured, warm-toned veneer, likely Mahogany, which is expertly finished with curved, rounded corners—a hallmark of classic Art Deco design.

A significant feature is the impressive top, which is adorned with a thick slab of black marble heavily veined with striking gold and white inclusions. The combination of the warm wood veneer and the dramatic marble creates a stunning visual contrast.

The storage is cleverly divided: the upper section features a large compartment with a sliding glass panel for display or protection of books and valuables. The lower section consists of a lockable cabinet space, fronted by two large, symmetrical doors, providing substantial enclosed storage. The interior shelving is visible and finished in a matching veneer.
