De Akai AM‑2600 is een stereo geïntegreerde versterker uit eind jaren ’70 die zo’n 60 W per kanaal bij 8 Ω levert met een vervorming van 0,1 %.  Hij beschikt over ingangen voor twee phono (MM), tuner, aux en tape, tone‑regelaars (bas, midden, treble), luidheidsregeling en een paar verlichte VU‑meters op het front.  Met zijn robuuste bouw, klassieke look en complete functieset is hij geliefd onder vintage‑hi-fi enthousiastelingen. To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
