A fine solid silver chainmail purse, circa 1900, measuring circa 7,5cm in height and weighing 18g, the clasp repoussé decorated with flowers and foliage. Stamped to the side with French import assay mark weevil in rectangle for .800 silver, in use from 1893 to 1984.
Acid test shows high silver content.
Condition: Overall good, a few defects to the chains, no other significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age.
