Gehalte: 835/000 (= tweede gehalte zilver) Meesterteken: C.A. Stout, 1961/2002 in  Rotterdam, Nederland jaren zeventig.

C.A. Stout was een zilversmid in Rotterdam die actief was van 1961 tot 2002. Hij is bekend geworden door zijn prachtige, handgemaakte zilveren miniaturen, zoals speelgoed en andere kleine objecten. Zijn werk wordt gekenmerkt door Hollandse zilverkeurmerken, waaronder het zwaardje met daarin 835, wat staat voor een zilvergehalte van 835/1000. C.A. Stout's meesterteken is CS3. Herkenbaar op deze mooie miniaturen. 

C.A. Stout's werk wordt gewaardeerd om zijn aandacht voor detail en vakmanschap. Zijn stukken zijn mooie voorbeelden van Nederlands zilverwerk uit de tweede helft van de 20e eeuw.
