Pair of Vintage Hand-Carved Folding Corner Shelves - Ornate Folk Style - Mid 20th Century

This charming pair of hand-carved wooden corner shelves showcases traditional folk craftsmanship with intricate patterns and folding functionality. Ideal for rustic or eclectic interiors, each shelf is both decorative and practical, offering a unique way to display small items or curios.

Dating from the mid-20th century, each shelf features elaborate cut-out motifs with stylized leaf and scroll designs. The folding mechanism includes original brass hinges and a metal latch system, allowing for compact storage and easy wall mounting.

Shelf 1 measures 27 cm (10.6 in) high, 18 cm (7.1 in) wide, and 13 cm (5.1 in) deep. Shelf 2 is slightly shorter, at 25 cm (9.8 in) high, 17.5 cm (6.9 in) wide, and 14 cm (5.5 in) deep. Crafted from wood with a warm patina, the shelves show signs of age and use including surface wear and a slightly uneven stance.
