Joseph Kohn – 1926 Editor: Bouquard Fils, Paris (model No. 465) Inscribed: Born 5 July 1914 – First Communion 2 May 1926 – Confirmed 4 May 1926 – Knutange Parish Central composition: “Cor Jesu Eucharisticum Miserere Nobis” with the Holy Trinity and Eucharistic symbols. Dimensions: approx. 46 × 31 cm (including frame). Frame: original plaster and wood, with small chips and missing fragments (visible in photos). Such devotional certificates were presented to young Catholics upon receiving their First Communion, to be framed and kept as a lifelong religious keepsake. Produced by the leading French Catholic publishers Bonamy and Bouquard Fils, these chromolithographs exemplify the refined devotional art of France between the wars.
