Pair of Vintage “Remo” Wall Lamps – Model Art. 160 (1970s–80s, Scandinavian market)

Gold / Brass Finish – Adjustable Directional Heads – Working & Original Condition

Description:
Beautiful and rare pair of vintage wall lamps by Remo, model Art. 160, designed for the Scandinavian market during the late 1970s to early 1980s.
Each lamp is marked “ART. 160 – MAX 60 W” and features the N D S F I approval sequence (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland) along with the Class II (double-insulated) symbol. These details confirm Nordic production standards of that era.

The lamps are crafted in steel with a gold-tone / brass-plated finish, displaying elegant functionalist design typical of Northern European interiors from that period. The light heads can be swiveled and tilted to direct light as desired — ideal for use as bedside, reading, or accent lighting.

One lamp has a replacement power plug (due to a past cable break), but the original plug will be included with the shipment.
Both are in fully working and original condition, with light patina and minor age-consistent marks that do not detract from their visual appeal.

Provenance and period:
Produced by Remo for the Nordic market (N D S F I certified). The RAMO 1010 mounting base and the “T.L” internal marking correspond with late-1970s / early-1980s manufacturing.
The design is consistent with Scandinavian functionalist lighting, sometimes distributed by regional brands such as Aneta or Belid under OEM arrangements.

Condition note:
Please study all photos carefully to assess cosmetic condition — they form part of the description. Both lamps are functional and visually well-preserved for their age.
