Teacup and Saucer – Chinese Export Porcelain (Companhia das Índias) – Qianlong Period, 18th Century (c. 1760–1780)
Elegant handleless teacup and matching saucer in Chinese export porcelain, delicately decorated in famille rose enamels, produced in Jingdezhen during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736–1795) for the European market.
The decoration features graceful intertwined lilac garlands with small pink and orange blossoms, centered by Western-inspired floral motifs. The rim is highlighted with a green line border and small geometric cartouches.
