Przedmiotem aukcji jest przepiękne radio historycznej marki Waldorp z DEN Haag. Marka ta powstała w 1915roku a pierwsze radio opuściło fabrykę w 1923 roku. Model 46A został wypuszczony na rynek w pierwszej wersji w 1946. Prezentowany model jest pierwszym wydaniem tego modelu. Względem następcy z roku 1947 wyróżnia się unikatowym ,okrągłym emblematem z wizerunkiem słonia oraz trzema grawerowanymi jaskółkami na podświetlanym panelu szklanym. Nowsza wersja nie posiada już emblematu a tylko napis WALDORP w górnej części obudowy oraz ma cztery wizerunki jaskółek i mosiężną ramkę skali radiowej. Technicznie nie różnią się niczym. Ten model jest z ekskluzywnej linii produktów "Diamand". 
radio nie posiada własnej anteny i do odbioru wymagana jest zewnętrzna. Radio przeszło gruntowny remont. Ponieważ jest bardzo rzadkie i wartościowe preferowany jest odbiór osobisty ze względu na kruche elementy o dużej wartości historycznej które niestety nie są już możliwe do odtworzenia a transport może uszkodzić kryształowy ekran przedni. Oczywiście istnieje możliwość rozkręcenia i specjalnego zabezpieczenia do transportu ale to tylko w wyjątkowym przypadku i po indywidualnym ustaleniu warunków. preferowany odbiór osobisty.
