Lobmeyr glass finger bowls are elegant and refined glass bowls traditionally used to cleanse fingers during elaborate dinners. Austrian brand J. & L. Lobmeyr, founded in 1823, is known for its luxury glassware and crystal, and finger bowls are part of their classic and timeless designs.
Lobmeyr finger bowls are often mouth-blown and hand-cut by skilled craftsmen, resulting in glassware of exceptional quality and precision. Many designs feature intricate details such as engravings, gold or platinum accents, and a subtle, almost translucent appearance that gives them a particularly refined look. Lobmeyr also regularly collaborates with renowned designers, making some of their pieces both functional objects and works of art.
The bowls are often considered collector’s items and are sought after by lovers of luxury table settings and antique glassware. Using a Lobmeyr finger bowl at the table exudes a sense of sophistication and history, adding a touch of old-world charm to formal dinners.
