Six Art Deco Vienne Austria Lobmeyr Glass Finger Bowls & Underplates - Stefan Rath 1905. The finger bowl is about 2,55” (6,5 cm) high with diameter of about 4,92” (12.5 cm), 1 glass underplate diameter 6,60” (16,8 cm), wall with serrated lip and rich foliage and ribbon work with flower garlands, stand with cut Lobmeyr seal, J. & L. Lobmeyr, Vienna around 1930, TS 231 Baroque, designed by Stefan Rath 1905 Inspired by an original Viennese Baroque glass from the mid-18th century, Stefan Rath designed two variations of these enchanting hand engraved glasses in 1905. Since 1935 Austrian embassies all over the world have been equipped with the set. In perfect condition as depicted! Rare to find a set of six !! Lobmeyr glass finger bowls are elegant and refined glass bowls traditionally used to cleanse fingers during elaborate dinners. Austrian brand J. & L. Lobmeyr, founded in 1823, is known for its luxury glassware and crystal, and finger bowls are part of their classic and timeless designs.
