The piece is printed on high-quality Japanese nacre (mother-of-pearl) paper, known for its subtle shimmer and fine texture, lending the work a luminous quality.

This particular copy is hand-signed by the artist in pencil and numbered VII/X—a very limited edition of only 10 impressions, making it a rare and desirable collector’s item. The lithograph was officially printed on January 22, 1963, following the publication of the Regards sur Paris portfolio by André Sauret, Paris.

Jacques Villon (Gaston Duchamp), was a major contributor to the development of modern art in France. His work bridges Cubism and lyrical abstraction, influencing later generations. Villon exhibited alongside major names like Albert Gleizes, Jean Metzinger, Fernand Léger, and Francis Picabia, and his style resonates with artists such as Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris, André Lhote, and Lyonel Feininger. Condition:
Good overall condition. The colours remain vibrant and the image is well-preserved. The sheet shows some light handling marks and minor signs of age, including a few small foxing spots (tiny brown dots), mostly visible on close inspection. Paper edges are deckled, as issued.
