Fetish - Dogon - terracotta, wood, iron - Mali.

An ancient Dogon fetish consisting of a rounded terracotta vessel that rests on three branches.
Inside, there is a wooden head of a male character who could be an ancestor.
We can also see a metal trident, an arrow, the representation of a child, and a wooden plaque that splits at the top.
Finally, a curved metal rod ending in two charms.
Objects of this kind appeared during ceremonies, notably during funeral rites.
It is evident that the object has been used, based on the remnants of libations.
It is in good condition.
He comes from the Bamba region.
