Signed and numbered! PARIS by Renée Jacobs is both an art project and a visual document that reflects how a woman views women in the city of Paris. The work distinguishes itself from conventional nude or erotic photography; it is not a typical nude book, nor a repetition of familiar artistic formats. Jacobs' approach is grounded in a social and humanistic perspective—exploring themes such as nudity, freedom, intimacy, and desire as fundamental aspects of human experience. The project is based on collaboration: the women portrayed are not anonymous models from agencies, but individuals Jacobs knows personally and works with directly.
