Pair of hand-carved wooden wall consoles – Neoclassical style – ca. 1930

Description:
A beautiful pair of solid wood wall consoles, richly hand-carved in an elegant Neoclassical style.
Each console features refined decorative details with acanthus leaf motifs, vertical fluting, and a graceful cup-shaped support tapering to a point — inspired by the Corinthian column from classical architecture.

These pieces date from the interwar period (circa 1930) and come from a private collection in the Netherlands.
They embody the timeless elegance of classical design combined with the fine craftsmanship of early 20th-century woodworking.

The wood has been recently treated with natural oil, enhancing the grain and giving the surface a warm, rich glow.
Both consoles are fitted with solid metal wall brackets on the back and are ready for display.
