Large lot of antique brass weighing weights – complete in various wooden blocks – 19th / early 20th century

This beautiful collector's lock consists of several sets of original brass weights, placed in their corresponding wooden blocks. The set includes both large blocks with heavy weights and smaller sets with finer sizes.

The weights are original, struck and marked (a.o. 1 kg – 500 g – 200 g – 100 g – 50 g – 20 g – 10 g – 5 g – 2 g – 1 g), and show nice patina consistent with their age.
The wooden blocks vary in wood type and finish; some show slight signs of age, which enhances their authenticity.
