That intuition of something greater, the daring of curiosity, is what, since the beginning of time, has led man to embark on ambitious projects. The first explorers who managed to reach the Americas, after weeks surrounded only by sea and uncertainty, did so guided by a visionary instinct that marked a transcendental before and after. The richness of this mix between the Old and the New World, between the classicism of tradition and the freshness of the exotic, gave birth to a prosperous fusion of languages, races, continents and cultures. Among the discoveries and innovations that this clash of civilizations brought about, a legendary drink stands out that today, in our 21st century, continues to enjoy excellent health: rum. This sugar cane distillate, whose iconography takes us to legends of pirates, boardings and virgin islands, is the best exponent of that inexhaustible thirst for adventure that, throughout history, has led man to overcome the limits. of the known. All for that promise: “happiness.” A MAP MARKS WHERE THE TREASURE IS The product box hides a treasure map that traces a route through the four countries of origin of CAB-RON rum (Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Guatemala and Barbados), and that is activated by body heat, allowing personal interaction and directly from the consumer with the packaging itself. TREASURE IN A BOTTLE The adventurous and daring spirit of CAB-RON is reflected in a signature design inspired by piracy and with a casual touch, which simulates a white skull made with recycled porcelain flakes. Creativity at the service of the high distillery that evokes the legends of corsairs and the Caribbean origins of the spirit from sugar cane. The alliance between craftsmanship and innovation, as well as attention to detail are inalienable values of the brand. The design of the bottle is the work of the artist specialized in haute cuisine and cocktails José Piñero, who has worked for Michelin stars such as Dabiz Muñoz, the Roca brothers and Adriá. RUM MASTERS The rum masters decide in which barrels they mature the spirit, at what alcoholic strength and for how long. The blends between some rums and others are carried out continuously, with all the barrels being checked and selected, to continue with the mixing process. The high ceilings of the famous Winery-Cathedrals favor a large volume of air that provides exceptional thermal inertia with respect to outside conditions. ELABORATION Direct from the barrel to the bottle, without additives, CAB-RON mixes selected aged and extra old rums, from the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Guatemala and Barbados, aged in three different barrels: Oloroso + Bourbon + PX Sherry Cask, Triple Oak Sherry Finished barrel. Its artisanal and complex production process combines tradition and innovation on both sides of the Atlantic. A sea of sensations that makes the skin crawl and sticks in the memory. Exclusive aromas arising from the combination of oak and Sherry wine define the personality of CAB-RON. With seductive notes of fresh spices, a display of dried fruits that come in leather and tobacco leaf parades on the background.
