aid with bone. Late 17th century. Collectors cabinets were produced in the wealthy merchant city Antwerp and were used by collectors to store rare artifacts in like coins, intaglio's, coral etc.
This example has 10 drawers. It is in original state, only some knobs of some drawers might have been replaced in the 19th century
