This is a Đàn Bầu, a unique traditional Vietnamese musical instrument, renowned for its melancholic and expressive sound. It is a monochord instrument (single-string), typically made of wood and decorated with traditional motifs.
	•	Body: crafted from lacquered wood, decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays depicting Vietnamese rural scenes, bridges, villages, and figures.
	•	String: metal, stretched between the end of the instrument and a flexible rod of bamboo or wood, which allows subtle tonal variations by adjusting the tension.
	•	Resonance box: amplifies the vibrations of the string, giving the sound its distinctive resonance.
    Wood and inlays remain well preserved and finely finished.
    The Đàn Bầu is considered a symbol of Vietnamese music
