Mark Borthwick's photobook Abandom Reverie. Renowned as a fashion and art photographer, Borthwick enjoys immense popularity in Japan. Active since the 1990s in publications like Vogue, purple, and i-D, he is one of the pioneers who laid the foundations of contemporary fashion photography, notably through collaborations such as his work with Martin Margiela. In recent years, he has transcended the boundaries of photography, showcasing his talents across diverse fields including music, filmmaking, poetry, and culinary arts. This book is a collection published in conjunction with his 2014 exhibition at Taka Ishii Gallery. It presents a series of images woven from light and color, creating a beautiful, abstract-like world—vibrant and distinctly Boswick—that unfolds before the viewer. Limited edition of 500 copies.
