Villeroy & Boch – “Wildrose” – Hand-painted Tableware Set – 6 Pieces – Germany – ca. 1960s–1980s

Description:
A vintage Villeroy & Boch “Wildrose” tableware set, fully hand-painted (“Handmalerei”) and produced in Germany. This early Wildrose production features underglaze painting with the classic pastel pink flowers, deep green foliage and softly contoured rims characteristic of the hand-decorated period.

The set includes the rarer bouillon bowl with attached saucer, a one-piece form typical of early Wildrose models. All pieces bear the authentic Villeroy & Boch marks of the period and display the distinctive handcrafted brushwork associated with this discontinued and highly collectible pattern.

Produced between the 1960s and 1980s, the Wildrose series remains one of Villeroy & Boch’s most iconic cottage-style designs, valued for its craftsmanship, decorative appeal and handmade texture.

- Dinner plates: approx. 26 cm
- Side plates: approx. 21 cm
- Salad/serving bowl: approx. 22 cm diameter, 9.5 cm height
- Bouillon bowl with attached saucer (one piece): 10.5 cm bowl diameter, 17.5 cm saucer diameter, 9.5 cm height

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Minor glaze irregularities and slight roughness on some rim areas caused by natural glaze accumulation during firing, typical of hand-painted Villeroy & Boch Wildrose production.
