Two VTL MB-125 monoblock tube power amplifiers, each with 2x 12AT7 and 4x EL34 tubes, tested and functional, weighing 22 kg each (44 kg total), with transport damage noted on one unit including broken speaker connectors, bent input, and broken fuse holder; exterior condition good to ok with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
You are bidding on 2x VTL 'MB-125' monoblock tube power amplifiers, each equipped with 2x 12AT7 and 4x EL34 tubes. The operating modes can be switched from 100W in tetrode mode to 50W in triode mode. Each monoblock weighs 22kg.
The two devices come from a household liquidation. The nature and frequency of their use can no longer be traced, which is why the operating hours of the installed tubes are also unknown.
During transport, an amplifier was damaged at the rear, with the speaker sockets broken, the Cinch input bent, and a fuse holder broken. The casing has a minor dent.
For assessment, we both devices were brought to the workshop of Jupit-Audio Bielefeld. Both devices are generally operational. As previously mentioned, the speaker sockets, input socket, and fuse holders on one power amplifier need to be replaced. Additionally, a loose contact was found in the power switch. The second power amplifier functions, but the cables to the power switch should be insulated or replaced, as they show bare spots. The written feedback from the workshop is attached with the photos. Photos of all damages have been provided.
The external condition is good to okay, with minor signs of use.
We have not commissioned any repairs; the condition is therefore unaltered.
The amplifier with the blown fuse was checked for functionality in the workshop and cannot be turned on by us at the moment. The photos in the switched-on mode are of the second amplifier.
