1969 Jaguar 420G with automatic transmission, petrol power, blue paint, 4.2‑litre inline‑six engine delivering 265 HP, 80,140 miles, matching numbers and colours, Dutch registration papers, valid MOT, service history, right‑hand drive, no CoC, interior showing wear and the body/frame with rust and blemishes.
Description from the seller
A fairly decent 1969 420G, automatic, roadworthy, and tax-free, with a desirable 6-cylinder carburetor engine and 80,140 miles on the odometer.
The Jaguar 420G was an update of the Jaguar MK 10, the flagship sedan model of Jaguar, introduced in October 1961.
The car is light blue and the paint is in reasonable condition.
The auto was ordered for the floor panels in the past.
The bodywork needs attention due to rust formation on various parts. The chrome parts on the car are lightly tarnished but still reasonably neat.
The interior is red, all in reasonable condition but with some damages. The carpets and door panels are in reasonable condition.
The ceiling is intact, but the sun visors are due for replacement.
The wood and the dashboard are good, but the lacquer of the dashboard is good.
The 420G is right-steered. I imported the 420G from England in June 2007 with documentation, and it has always been stored indoors with me.
The engine is a beautiful 4.2-liter 6-cylinder inline and is in good condition, with a good oil pressure of 40 lbs.
The Jaguar 420G drives well, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes are good. The 420G offers high driving pleasure.
It is advisable to view the vehicle first before bidding to avoid disappointment later. You can contact Catawiki to make an appointment.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
