Mid-Century Parasol with Repoussé White Metal Handle – circa 1950s

Stylish mid-century parasol featuring an ornate repoussé white metal handle richly decorated with scrolling foliage, beadwork, and floral motifs in deep relief. The handle is made of white metal, commonly used in
decorative parasols of this period for its attractive appearance and ability to take detailed repoussé work.
The canopy presents a striking contrast: black on the outside, with a vivid red and black printed hunting-scene pattern on the inside. The fabric is marked “NAILON”, confirming a mid-20th-century date. The parasol retains its original metal shaft and finial and features a manually operated (non-automatic) opening mechanism, typical of mid-century models.
