Supermooie art deco vaas uit de jaren 20 30.
Niet gesigneerd maar de stijl, vorm en kleurstelling is overduidelijk van Katwijk.

Gerardus Klinkenberg richtte in 1916 zijn eigen keramiekbedrijf op in Katwijk, na ervaring te hebben opgedaan bij verschillende pottenbakkerijen. Het bedrijf specialiseerde zich in de productie van sieraardewerk, serviesgoed en een uitgebreid assortiment souvenirs.

In 1930 verhuisde Klinkenberg zijn onderneming naar Zeist. Het bedrijf in Katwijk en later Zeist speelde een belangrijke rol in de Nederlandse keramiekindustrie van de vroege twintigste eeuw.
