Reasonably good. Scuff and impact marks, craquelé on the spines. Interior pages discolored, with some spots here and there. Slight tears, some open inner margins, a chip from margin on 6 pages. Variations in the number of gatherings. A tear of 1 to 1.5 cm in margin on 10 pages, loss of a corner on 6 pages.
Part 1: inner hinges partially open - book block fixed in binding. Loss of corner at the top of the frontispiece as well as at the bottom of the inner margin of pages 1 through 10, moisture spot at the top of the inner margin of the first 100 pages and a few thereafter.
2: some loss of leather at the head of the spine, inner hinges partially open - the book block fixed in the binding, covers loose, first and last endpapers creased, last index leaf also creased, moisture spot at the bottom inside margin of index leaves. Notch in the lower margin 479/480.
3: inner hinges open, book block almost loose, cover pages loose, black spots inside margin on 3 pages

Fairly good. Scrapes and dents, craquelure on the back, slight loss of leather at the head and foot of the back. The lining is discolored, with some spots here and there. Some corner wear, internal hinges partially open, and the inner margin is open in places.
