Leone Frollo (Venice, 1931 – 2018) was one of the undisputed masters of international erotic comics and illustration. After debuting in 1948 and working across diverse genres (from westerns to war stories), Frollo found his calling in the Italian erotic comics of the 1960s and 1970s, working on iconic titles such as Lucifera and Biancaneve.
However, the pinnacle of his art was reached in the 1980s with the creation of Mona Street, a saga combining refined eroticism and adventure, set in 1940s Boston. During this period, Frollo abandoned his sharp lines for a more painterly, soft, and elegant style, which has made him a cult artist among collectors worldwide. This print belongs precisely to that artistic movement that celebrates female beauty with unmistakable class.
