Print run of 305 numbered copies, including 40 copies on Imperial Japan with a suite, 245 copies on Arches vellum with a suite, and 20 nominative copies.
Paperback with printed, illustrated, and flapped cover, sleeve, and case.
Illustrated work with 55 color wood engravings by Louis Jou, including the frontispiece and 5 full-page illustrations.
One of the 245 copies numbered on Arches vellum, including a black suite of the original woodcuts.
Worn embossing (faded case with two cracked edges, shirt teeth split, previously and roughly reinforced with adhesive), otherwise a fine specimen, cover, interior, and embellishments are quite fresh.
