Lidded vase - Earthenware - Japan - Japanese Satsuma jar
A Japanese Satsuma ceramic jar with lid, early 20th ce. 1910-1920.
Rich decoration with characteristic representations for its time, with Samurai and traditional plant motifs.
It has mythical guardian dogs as handles as well as another one on the top of the lid. It is signed on its base.
In very good condition for its age with minimal signs of use and wear. Please look carefully at the photos, they depict the actual condition of the object.
It is approximately 32 centimeters high.
