This beautiful pocket watch comes with a heavy and solid sterling silver chain and a very rare whistle shaped like a dog's head. 
Watch: Dial white enamel. Small damage at 2 and 8 o'clock. Otherwise fine. Hands gilded. Black Roman numerals. Glass fine and undamaged. Watch case 800 silver with elegant horse motif. Movement cylinder. Works when tested but has been untouched for many years. 
Watch chain: English lion passant mark for Sterling silver. Each link in the chain is stamped with a lion passant. The chain is 38 cm long and weighs 42 grams. 
Whistle: The whistle is shaped like a dog's head (hunting dog). Is not stamped but probably made of sterling silver as well. Decorated with small stars in gold. Probably late 1800.
