Description from the seller
The fabric covering the sofa is not the original fabric. The current soft-green upholstery dates from around 1990. In the last 25 years the sofa has been in storage. The back side has a hard underlying surface. In two places the padding of the upholstery shows a press mark (bottom-left a long one, and top-right a smaller one), but there is no tear at those spots. Seen at an angle, these pressure marks are hardly noticeable. (see photos).
Two armchairs come with them of exactly the same style with the same fine wood carving (see attached photos). However, they have a different, lighter upholstery, namely beige, cream-colored. At the rear, the fabric is stretched and attached; they have no hard backing there. One of the armchairs has a light damage at the back (a 3 cm tear in the upholstery; see photo).
This furniture comes with four wooden round blocks. In some photos they lay loose on the seats. By placing these blocks in pairs under the front legs of the sofa or under one of the armchairs, they can create a slightly rearward-tilted angle. In this way they give the sitter a more reclining posture.
The pickup location after sale is Tilburg, The Netherlands.
