Description from the seller
A decorative early-20th-century silver-plated coffee service, consisting of a tall coffee pot with wooden handle and a matching creamer.
Both pieces bear a stylised eagle hallmark, together with the fractional markings “8/8” and “2/8”, and the letter “L.”
The hallmark featuring a stylised eagle with ribbon, combined with the letter “L.”, is characteristic of the Lackner Metallwarenfabrik
Thes workshop operated in southern Germany around 1890–1930, specialising in high-quality plated coffee and tea services.
This hallmark confirms the set is not solid silver but silver-plated.
Condition coffee pot and creamer:
Fair antique condition, consistent with use and age.
