Oil on canvas painting; 19th century Old Master's Piazza scene. Painted is described as "Attributed to Manasco by Francesco Guardi or C". Medium to large sized canvas in solid, aged, wooden frame. Date range is estimated at approximately 1875- 1925. This handsome work has been insured for $15,000.00 by Duble & O'Hearn Insurers in the relatively recent (prior to 2020) past. In its history it has also been listed for sale, and believe sold at one time via Sotheby's, NY, NY as item #531 (see official tag image above). Most recently do to precipitous declines in insured estimated worth of this genre of painting and many other categories of classic painting and artwork this particular piece was downgraded to $6000.00 insured, but Peter Curran L.L.C. Appraisals in Nov. of 2022.
