Chess set - don Chisciotte - white gold plating and yellow gold

Spectacular collectible chess set with the theme 'Don Quixote' featuring exclusive design and limited edition. The pieces are made of lead and plated in 24-carat white and yellow gold. This chess set includes a complete set of 32 pieces, ranging from 5 to 10 cm in size. Additionally, all pieces are felted on their bases.
The chessboard was made of wood, measures about 46 cm, and has spots for the pieces inside.
Given the fragility of the windmill blades, which broke at a couple of points, the towers were welded with appropriate material. To prevent further breakage, all of them have been reinforced, as can be clearly seen in the photos.

This is a commemorative edition for the 400th anniversary of Don Quixote of La Mancha. The sculptural figures in the romantic style of Gustave Dore depict the most illustrious characters from Miguel de Cervantes' famous book, featuring Sancho Panza and Don Quixote.



It is a limited edition with very few complete copies in good condition. The pieces are in excellent condition.
