It captivates with its fruity aromas and pleasant sweetness. The Causeway Collection from the Irish distillery Bushmills takes its inspiration from the legend of the giant Fionn McCumhail. It is dedicated to the natural wonder of the "Giant's Causeway" near the town of Bushmills. This bottling, part of the 2022 range of the series, was distilled in 2011 and initially matured in former bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. In a further step, the whisky is further aged in rare Banyul casks – a French sweet wine. This maturation imparts notes of baked peaches, vanilla, honey, and dark berries. The whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV. Aroma: Intense peach and apricot aromas. Palate: Sweet vanilla and honey with notes of baked peaches, anise, and dark currants. Finish: Long and full-bodied with a pleasant warmth.
