Statue of the Child Jesus, made of biscuit porcelain with a matte pastel finish and gilded accents. In his right hand, the Child holds a cross resting on a globe—a powerful symbol of his future sacrifice for the redemption of humanity. The globe represents the earth and the sins he takes upon himself, the cross the suffering he will voluntarily endure. In his other hand, he holds a crown of thorns, prefiguring the Passion. At his feet lies a flower, a sign of purity and the new life that will emerge from the sacrifice.

Height 37 cm, in good condition with light signs of age to the gilding.
