Beeld van het Kind Jezus, uitgevoerd in biscuitporselein met matte pastelafwerking en vergulde accenten. Het kind houdt in zijn rechterhand een kruis dat rust op een wereldbol – een krachtig symbool van zijn toekomstige offer voor de verlossing van de mensheid. De wereldbol verwijst naar de aarde en de zonden die Hij op zich neemt, het kruis naar het lijden dat Hij vrijwillig zal dragen. In de andere hand houdt Hij een doornenkroon, als voorafbeelding van het lijdensverhaal. Aan Zijn voeten ligt een bloem, teken van zuiverheid en van het nieuwe leven dat uit het offer zal ontstaan.

Hoogte 37 cm, in goede staat met lichte ouderdomssporen aan het verguldsel.
