Handmade Japanese Hagi ware flower vase with a white crawling glaze. The glaze naturally shrinks during firing, revealing the warm reddish Hagi clay beneath. This creates a unique textured surface and fine crackles (kannyu), characteristic of traditional Hagi-yaki. Excellent condition. Height 23.5 cm, Width 8.5 cm, Weight 866 g. Kiln stamp on the base and original traditional craft label attached.
