Beautiful antique oil lamp, made in Italy between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. A piece of great historical and decorative charm, characterized by a finely crafted metal base and an elegant satin glass globe.
Over time, it has been converted with a light bulb attachment but does not have an electrical system; therefore, it is sold as a purely decorative object without lighting function.
The base features a rich relief decoration with floral motifs, ribbons, rosettes, and small garlands, typical of late 19th-century Italian production. The slender shaft rests on a carefully shaped foot, providing balance and grandeur to the composition.
The upper part is completed by a satin glass globe with a central transparent band engraved with ornamental motifs. The upper chimney is made of transparent glass, as in traditional oil lamps.
