Big Peat Christmas Edition 2018, 53,9%, 700ml

With its golden reflections, the Big Peat 2018 Blended Malt offers natural cask strength with strong, maritime smoky notes. On the nose, it surprises with a relatively high amount of peat smoke and with the sweetness of candied pineapple that is typical of Ardberg whiskies. Burnt firewood, maritime, slightly salty notes and a hint of spice and sweetness convince the palate. Its finish is long-lasting with contrasting notes of soot and white pepper. The limited Christmas Edition Big Peat 2018 is an original Scottish blended malt whisky that is characterized by its expressive smoky aromas with subtle sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful, first sweetness from liquorice roots, then lots of smoke and peat
