Cort draait al heel wat jaartjes mee in de gitarenmarkt en staat bekend om de meer dan uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ook met deze G250DX weet het merk weer een erg leuke elektrische gitaar af te leveren. 

Een legendarische gitaarvorm in een iets eigentijdser jasje en dat voor een uitstekende prijs. De Cort G250DX is aangenaam licht van gewicht door zijn lindehouten body. 
Deze is voorzien van een hoogglans coating. 
De hals blijft op zijn beurt iets vertrouwder aanvoelen door het fijne ronde profiel en de klassieke 9.5 inch toetsradius. 
De evenwichtige gitaarsound van de G250 met zijn merkbare grom-accent in het midden wordt opgevangen door drie AlNiCo5 elementen. 
Voor de bekende S-stijl sprankeling, zitten er singlecoils in de hals- en middenpositie. 
Cort heeft bij deze G serie solidbody voor bij de brug echter gekozen voor een humbucker om je ook van die krachtige rockgeluiden te voorzien. 
Met de pushpull-schakelaar kan je de humbucker schakelen van singlecoil naar humbucker
Je kunt vijf basissounds uit de standenschakelaar halen, de klank helder houden of donkerder maken met de tone-knop en het totaalvolume afstellen met de volume-potmeter. Pop, blues en ook de hardere muzieksoorten zijn met de juiste versterker uitstekend naar voren te halen.

Veelzijdig geluid
Om een veelzijdig instrument te bieden, heeft Cort de G250DX met een HSS-configuratie gegeven. Zo kun je in de voorste en middelste positie mooie cleans, maar ook leuke blues spelen. In de achterste positie kun je flink scheuren. Ook zijn er nog twee tussenposities, voor extra subtiele geluiden. Wat je stijl ook is, de Cort G250DX misstaat nooit en heeft altijd een passend geluid!
