English Antique Sterling Silver Tea Strainer Spoon – 1906, Levi & Salaman, Birmingham

This exceptionally beautiful and detailed antique tea strainer spoon was made in 1906 in the English city of Birmingham, in the workshop of the renowned silversmith Levi & Salaman. The spoon is made of sterling silver (fineness 925), which is also confirmed by the English silver hallmarks: the lion passant mark, the Birmingham anchor, as well as the date mark and the maker's mark are clearly visible.

The spoon is richly decorated with openwork, floral and plant ornaments, and is in excellent condition. It reflects typical Edwardian elegance and is not only valuable for collectors, but can also be a stylish accessory for classic tea parties.
