Ricard Opisso i Sala, born in Tarragona on November 20, 1880, and died on May 21, 1966, in Barcelona, was a Catalan painter, draftsman, and comic strip artist.

Born in Tarragona, his family moved to Barcelona when young Ricard was two years old. In the modernist Barcelona of the late nineteenth century, Ricard Opisso was an assistant to Antoni Gaudi on his monumental work of the Sagrada Familia from 1892. He was associated with the group of the Four Cats, including Ramon Casas, Manolo Hugué, Isidre Nonell, and Pablo Picasso.

He was a cartoonist for Cu-cut! from 1903 and for L'Esquella de la Torratxa from 1912, signing political satire drawings inspired by Art Nouveau.
