Pair of decorative round metal boxes in gold, first half of the 20th century

Detailed description
Elegant pair of decorative round boxes, crafted with a structure in gold-colored metal alloy (not solid silver), finely embossed with floral motifs and stylizations inspired by neoclassical design.
One of the boxes features an internal insert made of hand-painted white porcelain with a delicate polychrome floral motif, while the other is characterized by a lid decorated with a relief depicting a stylized natural scene, probably achieved through casting or embossing.
In one of the two boxes, the external surfaces display colored areas in red lacquer, paired with gold plating, a typical element of decorative productions from the early decades of the twentieth century, intended for use as a boudoir or writing desk accessory (jewel box, candy box, small objects).
The small boxes are equipped with a well-functioning hinged lid and are presented as a pleasing collection or decorative item, ideal for classic or eclectic environments.
