Bed - Cast iron

Rare double bed in Sicilian style dating from the late 19th century, entirely made of cast iron.
Belonging to my great-grandparents, it consists of two single beds side by side, which can also be used separately.
Finely hand-decorated, with floral friezes, colorful representations of birds and courting scenes, it is enriched by notable mother-of-pearl inlays.
On the back of the pedestals, the initials of the artist who made it are shown: N - R
Condition in good shape, colors still vivid. Only a few scratches on the paint to note, easily restorable if needed.
