Antique Georgian pair of telescopic sterling silver candlesticks by John Roberts & Co, Sheffield, 1813, hallmarked 925, with round baluster bases, 12x12 cm bases, telescopic length 21.5–28.3 cm, gross weight 1143 g, condition very good with minor aging, detachable scones.

Antique Georgian sterling silver pair of rare telescopic candlesticks, having round baluster bases and plain straight-sided collumns, all with hand-chased melon-fluted decoration and applied gadroon borders and scones. Scones are detachable.
Made in Sheffield, 1813 (212 years old)

The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are:
Length 21.5 - 28.3 cm
Wide at base 12 x 12 cm
Approx. 530 + 613 = 1143 gram (Bruto weight, weighted for stability with materials other then silver) (bobèches weigh 53 grams together).
Condition: Very good condition. Hard to believe they are 212 years old. Telescopic function works well. They have a slight lean when fully extended.
