The traditional company HoDreWa is located in Olbernhau in the Ore Mountains, also known as the 'city of the seven valleys.' A panoramic trail with many viewpoints leads from Olbernhau via the Saxon Way directly to the toy village of Seiffen, which is well known to every woodworking enthusiast. But there is another connection between the two places in the Ore Mountains: the historic past of mining, the toy industry, and other crafts from the Ore Mountains.

The nutcrackers from the Ore Mountains in sizes smaller than 50 cm are less suitable for opening shells, but they are much more decorative objects during Christmas time. In terms of size, they can be divided into three groups: the large nutcrackers from 20 to 50 cm, the miniature nutcrackers from 10 to 16 cm high, and the Olbernhauer Reiterlein. In our range, you will find HoDreWa nutcrackers from all three groups.

You will find beautifully festively painted kings, beautifully uniformed soldiers, and hardworking miners in our Erzberg Palace. The wooden figures have an impressive appearance due to their color-coordinated uniforms and accessories that match the profession of nutcracker. The soldiers wear a feather on their hat and lace-up boots, while the miners, with tools and small color accents on their clothing, head to work. Legler's nutcrackers are available in various sizes.
