Description from the seller

An oval panel depicts a pastoral Dutch scene with several windmills, a river, and figures in traditional clothing. The figures appear to be engaged in a daily activity, likely milling or fishing near a boat.

Technique: The artwork uses a reverse-painting technique on glass, a common method for creating detailed scenes on stained glass panels. It is framed with a pinkish border and metal soldering.

Text Inscription: At the bottom of the panel, the Dutch text reads: "De Moolenaar Den Hemel geeft Wie vangt die heeft". This translates to approximately, "The Miller The Heaven gives He who catches it has it" (or "The Miller gives what Heaven provides, he who catches it keeps it"), a proverb likely related to fortune or resourcefulness.

Condition: In good condition. The panel has one visible crack across the lower-center section (Please see
photo)

Thje lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered post with a track and trace number. It can also be collected from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
