Martin Mayer (1931, Berlin).
Signed and numbered etching. Dated (1969).
Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm.
Mounted on a quality mat (33 x 41 cm).
Human calligraphy in the style of one of Europe's most renowned sculptors (bronzes in public spaces (the Luther in Landau and Weißenburg, the Olympia Triumphans in Munich's Olympic Park, etc.). Mayer is considered one of the last representatives of classical-modern sculpture in the tradition of Auguste Rodin, Aristide Maillol, Marino Marini, and Henry Moore.
