Description from the seller

Magnificent rosary with mourning reliquary in 18 ct gold (eagle head) from the late 19th century. It consists of a mourning reliquary opening on both sides, separated by a small glass to hold your photos or relics, with an eagle head hallmark in 18cts and black onyx, walnut magnifying beads, and a gold-plated medal depicting the Virgin Mary with a hallmark on one of the attachments, but unreadable.
It is in very good condition. The reliquary weighs approximately 7.2 grams gross (gold and onyx combined). The entire rosary weighs 19 grams. Of course, it has been tested with acid for 18ct gold.
You will receive it as I bought it, in a nice little vintage bronze gold-colored money holder.
Happy bidding to everyone
Like all my items auctioned on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (just dusting), nor any modifications since its purchase.
Good luck in the auctions to all.
Please carefully review the photos included in the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered as described.
No shipping outside the EU. If you are outside the European Union, you can bid on one of my lots; however, no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Due to the new import/export regulations in the USA, there will no longer be any shipments to this country.
Careful professional shipment with signature confirmation and insurance.

Seller's Story

Passionate about flea markets, and antiques of all kinds since my childhood, I was already selling on this site as an individual, the joy and kindness of the buyers made me understand that it was the right time to get started in my small business, I pay particular attention to the lots offered in order to be able to satisfy you, all my objects benefit from a very light cleaning and no restoration so that you can judge for yourself their quality and condition, so good auction to all and see you soon I hope
